Tu was born in Jiayi, Taiwan to a family that has practiced martial arts for generations.
He has mastered traditional Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, Chinese music instruments, medicine, the Book of Changes, Taoism, feng shui, and other cultural arts.
His 99 Power Qigong is very famous.
He has been invited by the United States, Canada, Japan, France, Tahiti and other countries to perform his qigong and exhibit his art. His specialty is combining qigong and artistic performance. In one such performance, Master Tu uses his bare hand to chop a steel pipe and then paints a Chinese brush painting while standing on the eggs.
