In our style, most of the kicks are Shomen-Geris.
The Sokuto-Geris are very few and Mawashi-Geris do not exist in our kata.
Yet, this Yakusoku-Kumite includes both Sokutô-Geris and Mawashi-Geris.
Kata Sanseiryu :
It’s one of the special kata of Uechi-Ryu.
It’s an attack and defense method against several enemies.
Therefore, its defense and attack techniques are more diversified: Watari-Uke, Hasami-Taoshi and Kakushi-Ken (Shi-Zuki).
They are high level and high speed techniques. This kata is quite representative of Uechi-Ryu.
