Shioda Gozo Senseï opened, with the agreement of Ueshiba Moriheï Senseï, his first dojo “yoshinkan” in 1995. He was one of the first and one of the best disciples of Ueshiba.
Because no Aïkido can benefit from exclusivity, each school or style has to contribute to carry on the peaceful message first given by Ueshiba Senseï.
The specialty of Yoshinkan is the development of clear and precise techniques that underline and stress the principles and the spirit of Aikido.

“Nice and naïve” is what you could say. But the more I practice Aikido the more I feel its various effects and the more I am convinced of the exactness of Ueshiba & shioda gozo senseï’s message.
