He is a noted historian and authority on Karate and weapons arts.
This video shows Okinawa's festivals and martial arts demonstrations.
The first dojo on the tour is Kosei Nishihira's. "When you watch Nishihira Sensei perform, it makes you feel as if you have been transported back in time to the days of old Okinawa".
He shows the Matsumura Hakutsuru White Crane Kata and fighting applications.
Yoshimasa Matsuda, "Okinawa's Unknown Warrior", demonstrates his skill.
"Even though Matsuda Sensei is well known on Okinawa, little is known of him outside the island".
Sensei Hidemi Tamayose of Ryukyu Kobudo demonstrates his Kata including the Kojo no Sai, the Tsuken Sunakake no Ekku Bo form as well as the Shushi Kon Bo Kata.
